A Newly Refurbished Apartment In Chelsea
What makes a good rental property? Is it warm interiors? Location? Good storage? The right number of bedrooms? Whether you are a couple or young professional, there are certain boxes that need to be ticked.
If you’re looking for a 2-bedroom property in Chelsea, this newly refurbished apartment may tick those boxes. And the good news is its new to the market! Click here to see more details.
The owners of this bright and beautiful 2-bedroom apartment in Draycott Avenue purchased the property in 2021 through D&G – but it didn’t look like it does today.
The apartment needed an upgrade. New floors, new lighting, new bathrooms, a new kitchen – the whole shebang! It was bought as a rental investment, so the owners didn’t want to go super high end with the refurbishment, but knew it needed some work. Our Head of Refurbishments & Interior Services, Tyrena Dangerfield, took control of this project, and took all the stress, complexity and hassle away from the owners.
What did the team do to get the apartment in shape?
• Designed and installed new bathrooms and kitchen
• Full internal redecoration
• Lay new carpets and floors
• Installed new lights
• Looked after all the minor repairs and full plumbing upgrade
• Dealt with the Licencing process
The result?
The refurbishment cost the owners £60-65K in total. Our Chelsea Sales Manager valued the property after the refurbishment at £1.2M, which means the owners generated a staggering £80K profit from the refurb. The apartment is now on the market with lettings for £850 per week. To book a viewing, click here to speak with one of our agents.
