March 2007 The Move To The Country Show
The Move to the Country Show
Douglas & Gordon are partnering with The London Office in an event supported by Country Life Magazine to offer a unique opportunity for residents of London to meet country agents to discuss their ideas or plans to move out of London.
On March 15th, at The Grand Hall, Battersea Arts Centre, Lavender Hill, you can meet 32 hand-picked, leading provincial estate agents, search agents, and other property-related advisors from 2 - 8pm at the move to the country show.
They can answer your questions, provide objective, balanced advice, and show you some of the most attractive property outside the capital, from “chocolate box” cottages to country estates.
Admission to this fantastic event is free. For any queries relating to the show please call Georgie at D&G on 020 7801 3312, or Bob at The London Office on 020 7839 0888.
Transport
Battersea Arts Centre by Train - Clapham Junction mainline station is a 5-10 minute journey from both Waterloo and Victoria mainline stations. Take the shopping centre exit and turn left out of the station. BAC is a 5 minute walk straight up Lavender Hill, past Asda, the Post Office and Magistrate Courts and across Latchmere Road on the left hand side.
Battersea Arts Centre by Underground - The closest Underground stations to BAC are Clapham Common on the Northern line or Stockwell on the Victoria line. Both of these stations are approximately a 15 minute bus journey away. The 345 bus departs from outside both stations and travels along Lavender Hill stopping outside BAC.
Battersea Arts Centre by Bus - 345, 77, 77A, 156 and G1 stop on Lavender Hill outside BAC. The night buses N77 and N345 also stop outside BAC. 35, 37, 39, 49, 170, 219, 239, 295, 319, 337, 344, and C3 buses either terminate at, or go through Clapham Junction. BAC is then a 5 minute walk up Lavender Hill on the left hand side. The night buses N19, N31, N35 and N37 also stop near Clapham Junction.
Battersea Arts Centre by Car - Unfortunately there is no car park at BAC. However, there are pay and display spaces on all of the surrounding streets; you will need coins for the parking meters at approximately £1.20 per hour.
